Erbium Laser Skin Resurfacing

Erbium Laser Resurfacing

Erbium laser resurfacing is an advanced skin-renewal treatment designed to improve texture, tone, and overall skin quality with precision and control. By gently removing damaged outer layers of skin while stimulating collagen production, the Erbium laser reveals smoother, brighter, healthier-looking skin—without excessive downtime or an overdone appearance.

This treatment is ideal for addressing fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. Results are natural, progressive, and tailored to your skin’s unique needs.

Benefits of Erbium Laser Treatment

  • Improves skin texture and tone

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

  • Softens acne scars and sun damage

  • Stimulates natural collagen production

  • Minimizes the appearance of pores

  • More precise with less heat damage than traditional lasers

  • Customizable depth and intensity for your skin goals

What to Expect Before Your Treatment

Prior to your Erbium treatment, you’ll receive a personalized consultation to assess your skin, discuss goals, and determine the appropriate treatment depth. Pre-treatment instructions may include avoiding sun exposure, retinoids, and certain skincare products for a short period before your appointment.

For your comfort, a topical numbing agent is applied before treatment. More aggressive treatments may include additional comfort measures.

What to Expect During Treatment

The Erbium laser is passed over the skin in a controlled manner, targeting damaged tissue while preserving surrounding skin. Treatment time varies depending on the area treated and intensity but typically ranges from 30–60 minutes.

What to Expect After Treatment

After treatment, your skin will feel warm, tight, and appear red—similar to a sunburn. Mild swelling and pinpoint bleeding may occur, depending on the depth of treatment. Peeling and flaking typically begin within a few days as fresh skin emerges.

Downtime varies based on treatment intensity:

  • Light treatments: minimal downtime with mild redness

  • Moderate treatments: 3–7 days of redness and peeling

  • Deeper treatments: up to 7–10 days of recovery

As healing progresses, you’ll notice smoother texture, improved tone, and continued collagen remodeling over the following weeks to months.

Results & Recovery

Initial improvements are visible once peeling resolves, with continued enhancement over 2–3 months as collagen production increases. Results are long-lasting and can be maintained with proper skincare, sun protection, and periodic maintenance treatments.
